Copenhagen Carnival – Before the parade

One week ago, Copenhagen had its Carnival parade.
For one day, here at the beginning of Scandinavia you can feel like Rio de Janeiro in February.

Samba and southamerican inspired dancing schools dance and play drums and other instrument on the streets, and the parade go on for the whole day. I confess I didn’t think there were so many dancing schools in Copenhagen.

The parades go through the Stroget, but the most interesting place is Amagertorv, where the groups prepare, put make up on….
